Joseph Bensmihen and his wife, Lisa, sold a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 7350 Andorra Place in Boca Del Mar to Nahum and Allison Zak for $435,000 on July 14.
The 2,677-square-foot house in the Captiva subdivision was built in 1984.
Mr. Bensmihen serves as the geriatric care manager at Boca Home Care Services, a provider of home health care services to elders and their families. He has been in the industry for nearly 15 years. He is also the president of the Florida chapter of the Private Home Care Association.
He earned his M.S.W. from Yeshiva University in New York.
Ms. Bensmihen is the firm's chief financial officer. She previously worked for Michigan Hospital Association and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan.
She received her B.A. in economics from Boston University and she holds an M.B.A. in healthcare administration.
Mr. Zak is the regional director of New York's National Conference of Synagogue Youth, an international educational Jewish youth movement. He was the organization's national director.
There were 269 home sales in Boca Del Mar in 2008, with a median sales price of $185,000.
