Dr. Richard Fichman and Lynn Fichman bought a two-bath home at 110 Atlantic Dr. N. in Lantana from Mark Martorell and Mildred Schwartz for $600,000 on June 17.

The 2,331-square-foot house, which was built in 1971, is in the Lantana Bayside neighborhood.

Dr. Fichman is the medical and surgical director of the Fichman Eye Center & Surgery Center in Manchester, Conn. He specializes in refractive eye surgery.

He earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed his advanced eye surgery training at Down State Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Mr. Martorell is a vice president and branch manager at Charles Schwab, a leading provider of financial services. Prior to that, he was a financial advisor at Wachovia Securities and American Express. He also worked as a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch.

He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and Florida Atlantic University.

There were 142 home sales in Lantana in 2008, with a median sale price of $125,000.
