Joseph and Julie Lashinger bought a six-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 12227 Tillinghast Circle in Palm Beach Gardens from Jones Holdings LLC for $5 million on June 5.

The 10,471-square-foot house, which was built in 2008, is in the Old Palm subdivision.

Mr. Lashinger has served as president of Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack. He began his career as consultant at Penn National and later became vice president and general counsel of the company. He has also been a partner in the law firm of Fox, Differ, Callahan, Sheridan, O'Neil and Lashinger.

There were 978 sales in Palm Beach Gardens in 2008, with a median sales price of $253,000.
