Brendan and Salima Witt sold a four-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 49 Ocean Dr. in Jupiter Inlet Colony to 49 Ocean Drive LLC for $1 million on June 3.

The Witts bought the property for $1.3 million in June 2004. The 4,092-square-foot house was built in 2002.

Witt is a defenseman with the New York Islanders. He played for the Washington Capitals from 1995-2006 before being traded during the 2005-06 season to the Nashville Predators. He signed with the Islands following that season.

In 848 career games he has 23 goals and 93 assists. He led the NHL with 322 hits during the 2000-01 season.

There were four home sales in Jupiter Inlet Colony in 2008, with a median sales price of $2,550,000.
