Mischka and Badgley paid $640,000 for the property in June 2006. The 1,906-square-foot house was built in 1982.

Mr. Mischka and Mr. Badgley are the fashion designers behind the Badgley Mischka. Founded in 1988, the duo specialize in evening wear and accessories.

Mr. Mischka studied management and art history at Rice University and attended the Parsons School of Design in New York.

Mr. Badgley studied business at the University of Southern California and also went to Parsons School of Design in New York.

There were 973 home sales in Wellington in 2008, with a median sales price of $290,000.
