Olsher paid $1,297,674 for the property in Oct. 2002. The 6,883-square-foot house, which was built in 2002, is in the Mizner Country Club neighborhood.
Olsher is the founding chairman and chief executive officer of Olsher Metals Corp., a Boca Raton-based company involved in international steel distribution, real estate, design-build projects and technology. He also serves as adjunct associate professor of business economics at Fordham University.
Prior to that, he worked as chairman and chief executive officer at Salem Tube Inc., vice-president, chief financial officer, treasurer and director at Sherman Square Realty Inc., and founder and president of ACLI Steel Co. and New Process Steel International.
He earned his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, his M.B.A. from New York University and a Ph.D. from Fordham University.
There were 1,199 home sales in West Delray in 2008, with a median sales price of $85,000.
