Lucas Hand bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 216 Lone Pine Dr. in Palm Beach Gardens from Robert Curley for $322,000 on March 20.

Curley paid $560,000 for the property in Jan. 2006. The 1,902-square-foot house, which was built in 2002, is in the Palm Beach Gardens East neighborhood.

Mr. Hand has served as financial analyst at FPL Group Inc., the largest investor-owned electric utility in Florida. He was a graduate assistant at the University of Miami and an associate at Cross Keys Capital before that.

He earned a B.B.A. in business at the University of Miami School of Business.

There were 957 home sales in the Palm Beach Gardens in 2008, with a median price of $260,000.
