Mr. Kurtz is a lawyer and founding partner with the law firm Kurtz & Revness P.C. He serves as chairman for the firm's business department.

He completed B.S. in accounting at Syracuse University and received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Sales at the Halcyon of Palm Beach were unchanged from 2007-08, while the median sales price jumped 11.8 percent during that time.

There were 178 condo sales in Palm Beach in 2008, with a median price of $512,500.
