Michael S. Settler and his wife, Mona, bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 4748 S. Ocean Blvd. in Highland Beach from Philip A. Mason for $350,000 on March 23.

The 1,500-square-foot Unit #1504 is part of the Dalton Place condominium development. It was built in 1979 and houses 121 units.

Mr. Settler is a certified public accountant with his own accounting firm in Pleasantville, N.Y. He is also the president of Schlossberg, Settler & Co., which is also an accounting firm in Pleasantville.

He earned an associate’s degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s in business administration from Pace University.

Sales at Dalton Place fell 80 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price fell 5.4 percent during that time.

There were 117 condo sales in Highland Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $387,500.
