Dr. Gary Pearl and Deneen Pearl bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 3000 N. Ocean Dr. in Riviera Beach from Mark Scott for $450,000 on March 11.

Scott paid $450,000 for the 1,625-square-foot Unit #0396 in March 2006. It is part of the Tiara condominium development, a 43-story, 320-unit building constructed in 1977.

Dr. Pearl is dentist at Pearl Dental Care, a dental clinic in Hamden, Conn.

He earned a degree in pharmacy from University of Connecticut and a D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He completed his general practice residency at Park City Hospital in Bridgeport, Conn.

Sales at the Tiara were down 16.7 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price fell 35.8 percent during that time.

There were 473 sales in Riviera Beach in 2008, with a median price of $325,000.
