The 2,405-square-foot house, which was built in 1998, is in the neighborhood of Polo Trace.

Dr. Berk has practiced optometry at Berk Eye Care Center in Ohio, which he founded in 1953. He also taught at his alma mater, the Ohio State College of Optometry.

There were 1,231 home sales in West Delray in 2008, with a median sales price of $90,000.
