Dr. Arnold B. Meshkov and Norma Meshkov bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 220 McFarlane Dr. in Delray Beach from Stephen Mason and Shirley Bernstein-Mason for $500,000 on March 4.

The Masons bought the 1,760-square-foot Unit #5020 for $367,500 in July 2007. It is part of the the Seagate Towers South condominium development.

Dr. Meshkov is a director and an associate professor of medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia.

He earned his B.S. and M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a M.B.A. from Temple University.

Seagate Towers South, which was built in 1970, has 149 units on 13 floors. Sales there were up 100 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price jumped 4.1 percent during that time period.

There were 624 condo sales in Delray Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $114,250.
