Prashant D. Nagar bought a four-bath home at 4620 N.W. 23rd Terrace in Boca Raton from John W. Luciani, III, for $1.2 million on Feb. 24.

Luciani paid $277,000 for the 4,047-square-foot, single-story house in July 2001. It is in the Patch Reef Estates neighborhood.

Nagar is an entrepreneur, founder and chief executive officer at the Florida office of KAPSEAN, Inc., a Sudbury, MA-based software company. It was founded in 2003.

There were 1,316 home sales in Boca Raton in 2008, with a median sales price of $323,750.
