Murray and Therese Kessler bought a four-bath home at 2472 Appaloosa Trail in Wellington from Mary and Frank Benedetto for $2.3 million on Feb. 5.

The 3,324-square-foot home was built in 1993. It is in the Saddle Trail Park of Wellington neighborhood.

Mr. Kessler is the vice chairman, chief executive officer and president of UST, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of various smokeless tobacco products and premium wines in the United States.

He received his B.S. from Villanova University and his M.B.A from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

There were 1,007 sales in Wellington in 2008, with a median sales price of $300,000.
