Mario Posillico sold a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 538 Les Jardin Dr. in Palm Beach Gardens to Ron and Carol Ponder for $1.15 million on March 11.

Posillico paid $1.402 million for the property in Nov. 2006. The 4,465-square-foot house was built in 2005.

Posillico is the chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors at Pollisico, Inc., a heavy construction contractors in Long Island. Previously, he served three years in the U.S. Navy as a meteorology officer stationed in Guam.

He graduated from Lehigh University in 1956 and the U.S. Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, Calif., in 1958.

There were 974 sales in Palm Beach Gardens in 2008, with a median sales price of $265,000.
