Shirley E. Gofrank and Michael Maegawa sold a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 101 Monterey Pointe Dr. in Palm Beach Gardens to Peter J. Schaumberg and his wife, Deanna, for $375,000 on March 11.
The 1,655-square-foot unit is part of the PGA National condominium development.
Ms. Gofrank is a C.P.A., managing partner and co-founder at Gofrank and Mettina in Rochester Hills, Mich.
She earned a M.S. in taxation from Walsh College in 1982 and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Maegawa is the representative director at Cooper-Standard Automotive Japan, Inc. After graduating from college, he moved to the U.S. and worked at General Motor and at Daimler-Chrysler.
He graduated from Doshisha University in Kyoto with a degree in mechanical engineering. He completed his post graduate study at Michigan State University.
Sales at PGA National were down 11 percent from 2006-07, while the median sales price also fell 11 percent during that time.
There were 1,039 sales in Palm Beach Gardens in 2008, with a median sales price of $268,000.
